CBCA is excited to announce the installation of four new members of the Board of Directors: Cheryl Lerner, DMD, Morris Price, Dustin Whistler and Dan Wittenberg.  Morris, Dustin and Dan were voted on to the Board in November 2016. Cheryl was voted on to the Board in January 2017. We look forward to working with them to continue advancing Colorado’s creative vitality by connecting business and the arts.

Cheryl Lerner, DMD

Vice President of Professional Services, Delta Dental of Colorado

Cheryl Lerner, DMD is Vice President of Professional Services at Delta Dental of Colorado. As a former dentist, she leads the company’s provider network initiatives and support efforts to educate members about the importance of oral health. Cheryl has a true passion for the arts and has taught arts & crafts for several years. She’s currently participating in CBCA’s Leadership Arts program.

Morris Price

Vice President and Executive Director, City Year Denver

Morris W. Price, Jr., is the Vice President and Executive Director of City Year Denver. Prior to City Year, Morris served as the District Director for the 1st Congressional District of Colorado. Morris previously served on the Board of the GLBT Community Center of CO, Urban League of Metro Denver, Colorado State University GLBT Alumni Alliance, Volunteers of America and Redline Denver. Currently, Morris serves on the Denver Art Museum Marketing Advisory Committee, GLBT Center of Colorado (Honorary Board Member), Compass Academy (a DPS Charter School) and Rose Community Foundation Committee on Aging.

Dustin Whistler

Founder and Principal, Forte Commercial Real Estate

Dustin Whistler is Founder and Principal at Forte Commercial Real Estate. Dustin serves on the Board of the Colorado BioScience Association and on the Denver Commission on Cultural Affairs. He previously chaired the Board of Directors at Phamaly Theatre Company and now sits on their Community Advisory Council. He is a 2013 graduate of CBCA's Leadership Arts program and received one of the inaugural Cultural Leadership Awards in 2015, which recognizes outstanding Leadership Arts alumni.

Dan Wittenberg

Partner, Snell & Wilmer

Dan Wittenberg is a Partner at Snell & Wilmer. His law practice is concentrated on representing manufacturers and distributors of products across a vast array of sectors. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado BioScience Association. Dan previously served on the Board of Directors for the WOW! Children's Museum in Lafayette and the American Lung Association Colorado.
