We recently shared CBCA’s 2022 Annual Report and highlighted collaboration, equity and innovation as key themes and priorities for the organization. These principles continue to guide us in 2023.

With the generous support of our community, CBCA presents programs and initiatives that build strong and vibrant communities in Colorado.

Recurring donors sustain their support of CBCA throughout the year at a variety of giving levels. Our recurring donor campaign goal is for 23 new donors to give a monthly gift of $23 or more in 2023.

I invite you to become an integral part of this work with a recurring gift to CBCA and set up your recurring donation today.

Your gift supports CBCA’s programs and initiatives, including:

ADVANCING CREATIVES INTENSIVE & COLORADO ATTORNEYS FOR THE ARTS

CBCA provides business planning, professional development training and education, and pro bono legal services to artists and creative entrepreneurs in a range of fields (music, visual art, theatre, dance, film, etc.) through Advancing Creatives and Colorado Attorneys for the Arts programs. 475 Colorado artists were served by these programs in 2022, and with growing demand they continue to expand in 2023.

COLORADO ARTS ACTION NETWORK

CBCA launched the Colorado Arts Action Network in January 2022 — a grassroots mobilization platform that helps voters take collective action to influence policies that impact our arts and creative industries sector. In its first year, over 1,000 targeted advocacy emails were sent to Colorado legislators through the Colorado Arts Action Network to support the passage of $20 million in Community Revitalization Grants (HB22-1409). The network serves as a critical tool in state arts advocacy.

Be an Advocate for the Arts! Sign up for the Colorado Arts Action Network to join and lend your voice to support arts in Colorado.

LEADERSHIP ARTS

Leadership Arts teaches leadership skills by preparing people to serve on nonprofit boards of directors and increase their civic engagement in the arts. For over 25 years, CBCA has built a pipeline of leaders in the arts through this hallmark program. To date, over 1,000 Coloradans have graduated from Leadership Arts, and we are proud to welcome the 2023-2024 cohort this month.
