CBCA Members and their employees are invited to request up to two complimentary tickets to the Center for Visual Art on Tuesday, February 20th from 6-7:30pm.

Learn about the exhibition Pressing For Change from the Director & Curator of MSU Denver’s Center for Visual Art in this special after-hours visit. Introductory remarks and tour will begin at 6:30pm.

Pressing For Change  explores and celebrates various ways that printmakers provide an accessible voice for change. Knowledge is power, and since the early days of printing, the press helped disseminate knowledge quickly and broadly. Currently, printmakers often intentionally utilize the power of the multiple to critically confront and examine contemporary local and global issues. Through a variety of approaches, the artists in this exhibition investigate the state of our vulnerable environment. These printmakers inspire action while exploring relationships of community, land, and the environment.
