2026 Business for the Arts Awards Nominations

CBCA’s Business for the Arts Awards celebrate innovative cross-sector partnerships, generous philanthropy, creative businesses, and stellar leadership across the state. Complete the form below to submit a nomination for the Arts & Business Partnership Award, Next Wave Leadership Award, Cultural Leadership Award, or John Madden, Jr. Leadership Award.

The 2026 Award Categories & Criteria can be found here. PLEASE REVIEW THE AWARD CATEGORIES AND CRITERIA IN ADVANCE! Competitive applications directly address the award eligibility and judging criteria in their Application Statement, supported by specific examples and ample supplementary materials.

Tips for Successful Nominations

Self-nominations are strongly encouraged.
If you are nominating another organization or person, please notify them about the nomination. The most competitive and compelling submissions include input from the nominee.
All nominations must include a minimum of three supplementary materials, such as letters of support, press articles, photos, video links, etc.
Detail, detail, detail! Be specific about the impact of the nominee and their work. Share examples and stories, as well as data and metrics.

Describe the nominee’s emerging role in advancing arts, culture and the creative industries in Colorado, including volunteerism, philanthropy, innovative partnerships, and/or arts advocacy.

Cultural Leadership Award Application Statement

Describe the nominee’s role as a graduate of CBCA's Leadership Arts program in advancing arts, culture and the creative industries in Colorado, including volunteerism, philanthropy, innovative partnerships, and/or arts advocacy.
