In March 2020, Eclectic Activation’s founder and owner Nikki Kolakowski saw firsthand the impact COVID-19 had on her own business and the local businesses she loved and supported. She was determined to find a creative way to help. Windows of Inspiration is an opportunity to support local businesses and artists while giving messages of inspiration to the community.

Windows of Inspiration provides a way to support small local businesses and the arts community while providing great exposure for the national sponsors (like Truly Hard Seltzer, Friday Health Plans and Salesforce) and partners.

The program works with the sponsor from start to finish on nominating and identifying key local businesses, customer outreach, and creating on a one-sheet that can be distributed to the business about offering a special deal or discount. These additional steps build a unique strategic partnership between the sponsor and the local business, benefiting both parties involved. The local business is able to nominate a local artist they would like to collaborate with to create the inspirational message. They work together with the sponsor, the local business and the artist to determine the artwork and inspirational message on the storefront. The local business and the artist are all provided organic content and marketing through the project, which helps to elevate their work and brands.

Eclectic Activation’s unique Windows of Inspiration program demonstrates the sheer magic that can happen when the arts and business (large and small) come together to support the community overall, especially while navigating challenging restrictions and closures.
