Every year, CBCA showcases a diverse array of Colorado artists and performers as part of the Business for the Arts Awards Luncheon. In 2021, the live streamed event featured a combination of pre-recorded performances filmed at our award honoree facilities and a few creative surprises live at the venue. Learn more about our 2021 entertainment partners below. Watch the performances by NU-World Contemporary Danse Theatre and The Rajdulari Experience on CBCA’s YouTube Channel.
The 2021 Awards Luncheon Entertainment was sponsored by Moye White.
Ascend Performing Arts

Since its inception in 1958 as a drum and bugle corps, the Blue Knights has developed into a multi-faceted youth performing arts organization, which serves thousands each year. The organization rebranded as Ascend Performing Arts in 2010, consisting of three world class ensembles: Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps, Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble and Blue Knights Winds. They are also known for signature events like Drums Along the Rockies and The Broncos Stampede.

The Rajdulari Experience features Jazz/Soul vocalist Rajdulari and her amazing band of local performers, including Kerrie Joy, Monique Brooks-Roberts and Aaron Brooks-Roberts. Rajdulari’s ability to share uplifting messages of confidence, empowerment, love, and hope – through song – is the most gratifying gift she can exchange.
An alumna of Berklee College of Music in Boston, her first two albums, “Honeywine” and “Journey of a Woman,” yielded great acclaim and success in the US and UK. Rajdulari moved to Denver in 2016 and is continuing her journey with music, health, and fashion. She’s currently writing her third album, working on expanding her “RajdulariStyle” fashion blog, and continues to exercise with and promote “BlackGirlFitClub” and her “RajdulariFitness” brand.
