Creative Law?

You may wonder…Over the years Moye White attorneys have helped write and develop Colorado business organization law as well as new corporate partnership and limited liability laws. In the process, MoyeWhite has earned a reputation as one of the more creative and tech advanced law firms in the region.

When partner John Moye taught bar courses, he wrote and performed a rap to help his students remember the information, dubbed by such students as the “Contract Rap.” Their culture, which has defined them from the start, rewards vision, provides opportunities for individuality, invention, open communication and emphasizes teamwork and collaboration. MoyeWhite believes in taking their message of creativity and community out to their clients, each office reflecting a personal aesthetic of its resident, and attracting inspired clients.

Their newly renovated office is home to niches for sculptures, long halls for paintings and conference rooms named after famous artists. Check out their website, www.moyewhite.com, to view the art and animation of James Yang illustrating the various areas of law in which they practice. “Our art collection is personal and eclectic, and is owned primarily by individuals in the firm,” Trish Rogers, attorney, told CBCA. Many members of the firm are artists when they are not working for their clients including: photographers, watercolorists, painters and 40 professional authors.

The firm demonstrates their commitment to giving back to the community with support and board service including: Biennial of the Americas, Colorado Chatauqua Association, Colorado Symphony, History Colorado, Denver Art Museum and Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Serving on the Denver Architectural Foundation (DAF) Board and participate in Doors Open Denver, a DAF program. Doors Open Denver makes dozens of building available so Denverites can have an opportunity to experience Denver’s architecture up close. In addition, they are one of very few law firms in the State and the Country who are a Certified B Corp. For 39 years MoyeWhite has integrated art and creativity into their practice of law.

CBCA is proud to have Moye White as a Patron Member of our organization.
