Legislative Lunch & Learn

Kick off National Arts & Humanities Month this October! All members of the Colorado Legislature are invited to this informative and interactive convening about the role of arts and culture in our state. The arts are essential to fostering thriving, safer, and healthier communities.
This Lunch & Learn will focus on the intersection between the arts and critical community issues, such as housing, public safety, and mental health. This event will highlight those opportunities and extraordinary work already happening locally. In addition, this event is an opportunity to meet the new Director of Colorado Creative Industries (our state arts agency), Josh Blanchard, and get a sneak peek at the new economic impact study of Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
This Legislative Lunch & Learn is designed for Colorado State Senators and Representatives, as well as other government representatives, who are curious or already supporting the arts. Boxed lunches will be provided to legislators.
Community members are also encouraged to attend in the audience to hear the speakers and conversations.
This event is hosted at Colorado Photographic Arts Center’s new location, situated 2 blocks from the State Capitol, and it will be the final week to see OUTCRY by Whitney Bradshaw.
