Leadership Arts is a nine-month training program that prepares people to serve on nonprofit boards and increase their civic engagement in the arts. Applications for Leadership Arts 2017-2018 are due by Friday, August 11.

Time Commitment

Leadership Arts 2017-2018 will begin on September 13, 2017 and conclude on May 9, 2018.  Sessions are typically held on the second Wednesday of the month from 12 noon to 5:00 pm (schedule is subject to change). Participants are expected to make every effort to attend all program sessions.  Attendance at seven out of nine sessions is required to graduate. Each session is hosted a different cultural venue and followed by an optional happy hour.

Program Fees

A $100 deposit must be sent with the completed application. Deposits are refundable by request only until the application deadline and to any candidate not selected for the program.  Deposits are applied to the total tuition fee.

The total tuition fee is $1,500 for CBCA Members and their employees. If three or more CBCA Member employees apply, tuition is reduced to $1,100 per person.  Non-member fees are $2,200. Tuition covers all associated program costs.

Once paid, tuition is non-refundable and enrollment in Leadership Arts in non-transferable.
