HOW HAVE ARTS AND/OR CREATIVITY HELPED YOUR COMPANY INNOVATE OR GROW YOUR IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITY?

Since coming to Colorado in 2018, PNC Bank has had the honor to join the business community in support of the arts. PNC’s Investment Market Director for Institutional Asset Management Sam Somuri serves on CBCA’s Board of Directors, supporting and celebrating our community’s work to make Denver an arts destination and haven.  Each year we sponsor the Cultural Leadership Award, which honors an outstanding graduate of the CBCA’s Leadership Arts Program. Leadership Arts has been training individuals to serve on nonprofit cultural boards and increase their civic engagement in the arts for over 25 years.  PNC Bank has had a handful of members from their executive leadership team participate in the CBCA Arts Leadership 9-month development program to help prepare our colleagues to serve as Board of Directors in the arts and cultural sector. That type of leadership has never been more necessary than it is today, and it is a thrill for us to recognize outstanding leaders who make a difference in our community.
