Tell us about you: provide a short bio or mission statement.

Persist Publicity is a women-led boutique PR-firm based in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to share stories that matter – and we do that through a mix of PR, influencer relations and digital marketing. Our clients are Colorado founders, creatives and community-centered businesses like Rebel Bread, City Park Farmers Market, Women’s Bean Project, CBCA member the Denver Fringe Festival and the Cherry Creek Holiday Market. With an emphasis on meaningful storytelling and authentic engagement, we deliver a relationship-driven PR strategy that connects each client to its target audience in order to grow brand awareness and impact.

Share a story of your company’s engagement or an employee’s engagement in the arts.

One of our clients is CBCA member the Art Students League of Denver (ASLD), who approached us to handle PR for its long running Summer Art Market in 2022. That campaign led to additional project work and ultimately an ongoing partnership to raise awareness of ASLD, tell the stories behind its programs and help more people connect with art and artists in the community.

Through regular event-related coverage, in-depth artist profiles and stories that explore the joy of artmaking, we’ve helped ASLD raise event attendance, gain sponsors and donors, and grow their visibility within the greater community.

We love connecting with the artists at ASLD, checking out their exhibits and even taking a class here and there! They’re a valued partner of ours that we feel really good about supporting.

How have arts and/or creativity helped your company innovate or grow your impact in the community?

Representing various arts organizations and events in Denver has been a catalyst for some really impactful storytelling.

Working with the Colfax Canvas Mural Festival, we were able to amplify the voice of artist Ally Grimm and her message of hope for Venezuelan families.

At the Art Students League of Denver, artist Guadalupe Hernandez used his exhibit to show the dignity of immigrant workers, which we highlighted through stories with local media.

When we partnered with Factory Fashion and owner Skye Barker Ma, teen drag performers wanted to speak out about queerness and inclusivity, which we honored by working with journalists who take special care in how they approach and present a story.

All of this reminds us that artists have a lot to say – and how proud we are to share their stories.

Why are you involved with CBCA?

We see the benefit of surrounding ourselves with creatives and immersing ourselves in the local arts community. CBCA provides additional opportunities to do that while exposing us to new businesses, artists, and those connected to the arts scene.

We’re looking forward to taking full advantage of our membership, connecting with fellow arts lovers and finding more ways to collaborate with local creatives!
