stART Your Day with Westwood Creative District
Join the Leadership Arts Alumni Network (LAAN) for our stART Your Day with Westwood Creative District leadership breakfast. We’re heading to the Westwood Creative District on Morrison Road to learn about one of Colorado’s newest state-certified creative districts. Westwood is deeply rooted in cultural heritage, culinary arts and community spirit.
This immersive event is designed for a small group of Leadership Arts graduates to learn, explore and connect together. Space is limited. This is LAAN’s third annual stART Your Day With… event.
Agenda
- 8:00am – Meet at Kahlos (3735 Morrison Rd) for breakfast. Drinks provided by Cultura Chocolate and Cabrona Coffee. Food provided by Kahlos and Pan Dulce by Contreas
- 8:15am – Introduction to the Westwood Creative District. Learn about the history, partnerships, current plans and upcoming events from the founders
- 8:30am – Tour of the RISE Westwood Campus including the Plaza de Mexica, Cultura Chocolate, the Frida Art Exhibit and Re:Vision’s Urban Gardens
- 9:15am – Mural Art Walk from the RISE Westwood Campus to Arturo Garcia’s Fine Arts Gallery (4040 Morrison Rd)
- 9:30am – Tour of Arturo’s Gallery with additional snacks provided by Westwood Creative District partners
- 9:45am – Four Directions Closing Ceremony
- 10:00am – Wrap-up
