CBCA September Member Meet-Up
Join us for our quarterly member meet-up event – designed for new, longtime, and not-yet members on Thursday, September 19 from 5:30-7pm. This event is hosted by CBCA member Colorado Photographic Arts Center.
Connect with CBCA staff, board of directors, and some of CBCA’s 275 members from corporate, arts, and civic organizations. Members have opportunities to network at the intersection of arts and business as well as celebrate and contribute to the vital arts and cultural community of Colorado.
The Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) is the only nonprofit organization in Denver dedicated exclusively to the art of photography. Founded in 1963, CPAC serves as a resource center where photographers can learn new skills, pursue their artistic vision, build community, grow creatively, and seek inspiration. In 2023, CPAC relocated to its new location at 1200 Lincoln Street.
Located in Denver’s Golden Triangle Creative District (also a CBCA member), CPAC hosts 7-10 high-quality exhibitions each year that showcase the finest examples of contemporary photography from local and national artists. All exhibitions are free and open to the public. CPAC offers classes and workshops year-round at affordable rates, taught by a faculty of established artists and industry professionals. CPAC offers resources for artists, including a darkroom, digital lab, photobook library, and a Permanent Collection of more than 800 fine art prints. Every other year, the Month of Photography Denver Festival (MOP) transforms our region into a feast of photography, with more than 100 exhibitions, portfolio reviews, artist talks, tours, and other events. The next festival will take place in March 2025.
CBCA’s Member Meet-Up events are sponsored by KUNC & The Colorado Sound and Total Wine & More.
