Join the Leadership Arts Alumni Network (LAAN) in 2017 as we take a journey through the elements: water, earth, fire and air.  Our quarterly LAAN Event Series begins with Water, as we take in a special behind the scenes look at the Arvada Center’s upcoming production of The Drowning Girls. In late spring, connect with Earth as we have an exclusive experience at the the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. The heat of summer brings us to Fire and connecting with the passion of RiNo’s street art. We conclude with Air, the element associated with teaching and ideas, at the Denver Public Library.

Now through the end of February, subscribe to the entire 2017 LAAN Event Series and get the best deal possible.

Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities
Director Lynne Collins will talk about Arvada Centers’ regional premiere of The Drowning Girls, based on a true story and one of the first cases to use CSI techniques to convict a serial killer in 1915. You’ll see a portion of the rehearsal where you’ll meet Bessie, Alice and Margaret – three women who have two things in common: they married George Joseph Smith, and they are dead. There will be a breath-taking reception with dangerously delicious bites.

Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Join us for an exclusive after hours experience at the museum, a century-long anchor in our cultural community. We will ground ourselves in its history and treasures that continue to reveal more about our society and natural surroundings. Weather permitting, we might enjoy some of the beautiful balcony space while sipping beverages.
