Join us in welcoming the 2020-2021 Leadership Arts cohort!

This group of 49 individuals come from all over Colorado (including Grand Junction and Colorado Springs) and represent a range of industries, career levels and personal backgrounds. There are IT professionals, attorneys, painters, creative writers, accountants, real estate brokers and musicians. Check out their Class Roster and see who you might know.

What ties them together? Their interest in civic leadership, volunteer service and arts advocacy.

Thanks to the support of the 2019-2020 Leadership Arts cohort, CBCA Board of Directors and CBCA supporters, a record-breaking $11,250 of scholarship funds was distributed to 11 candidates through the Deborah Jordy Leadership Arts Scholarship.

CBCA has planned a unique virtual and in-person program for this year. This platform has enabled us to expand the curriculum to feature 16 virtual classes with new topics, such as Arts & Social Justice and Arts & Business. Their first class was on September 23 and included a special welcome from Colorado State Representative and Chair of the Colorado Arts Caucus, Leslie Herod. Check out the 2020-2021 Class Schedule.

Alumni are always invited to take a “refresher” and join the current class. Contact mbadler@cbca.org if you’re interested in attending an upcoming class.

It’s inspiring to have such a dynamic cohort this year, especially when our cultural community needs their leadership and service now more than ever. We’re excited about the journey ahead!
