Whether you are a dancer, choreographer or administrator, there are several legal issues that we all need to tango with. Have you correctly licensed the music for your piece? How do you protect the copyright in your choreography? Do you have the rights to share that performance video? What does this legalese actually mean in my contract?

Colorado Attorneys for the Arts (CAFTA) and Presenting Denver are partnering with the law firm Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck to offer this free workshop for our regional dance community.

Join us on Thursday, July 9th at Miss Rachael’s Dance for “Own Your Moves: Legal Essentials for the Dance Community.” There will be a community reception with light refreshments, in addition to the presentation.

Own your moves and get your legal questions answered! If you need additional legal consultation or representation following this event, CAFTA can help get you connected to one of their attorneys.
