ArtsConnect: Macbeth with Opera Colorado

CBCA Members and their employees are invited to request two (2) complimentary tickets to a special dress rehearsal performance of Macbeth with Opera Colorado at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on Thursday, November 5.

Who shapes the truth—and what happens when the stories we tell take on a life of their own? Verdi’s Macbeth explores a world where whispers become prophecy, rumor becomes reality, and power is fueled not just by ambition, but by the voices that surround it. In a sweeping production set in 11th-century Scotland, this Macbeth invites us to consider our own role in the rise and fall of leaders: how we spread stories, twist them, believe them, and help create the very forces that undo us. Verdi’s electrifying score heightens every turn, capturing both the human vulnerability and terrifying momentum of a world driven by fear, desire, and the stories we choose to amplify.
