For the last 30 years, CBCA has been quantifying the financial and social impact of the nonprofit cultural sector in the Denver metro area. Join us on November 2 to hear the latest data, stories and impact of the regional arts, cultural and scientific sector, especially as we rebound from the decade of growth lost due to the pandemic.
CBCA has been publishing this biennial report since 1993. The 2023 Economic Activity Study will analyze data from the 2022 calendar year collected from arts, cultural, and scientific nonprofits organizations in the seven-county metro area who receive funding from the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). Key metrics include overall economic activity, cultural tourism, jobs, attendance, philanthropy, and education. This report will include comparisons to the prior study, which featured 2019 and 2020 data, as well as longitudinal changes over the last 30 years.
This study is a key advocacy tool to demonstrate the relevance and impact of the arts & cultural sector on our region. It is essential to identify future priorities, make the case for investment, and ensure the arts are at the table in community visioning and decision-making.
CBCA will release the latest Economic Activity Study of Metro Denver Culture, presented by U.S. Bank, with a free community roll-out event. Media, elected officials, business leaders, cultural organizations, and arts advocates are all invited to attend.
More details and an RSVP link will be available soon.
