CBCA Support

With your financial support, CBCA advances Colorado’s creative economy by connecting business and the arts.

CBCA works at the intersection of arts and business to strengthen the cultural vitality of Colorado communities, to validate the arts as an integral part of the region’s economic development, and to demonstrate that art is smart for business. Since 1985, CBCA has engaged businesses and their employees in the arts, inspiring innovation and creativity and fostering a Colorado where people want to live, work and play.

Testimonials

CBCA provides an intersection to support, engage, and connect for both business and the arts organizations alike, hear it directly from our members:

“Our membership allows PNC Bank to support Colorado’s vital arts and culture community and engage our employees in meaningful ways.” – PNC Bank

“Our staff value the arts, as do we, and we feel our membership is a way for them to stay connected to events in the Denver area and network with likeminded businesses.” – Heidi Aggeler, Managing Director at Root Policy Research

“As a Certified B Corporation, we consider it our responsibility to be on the front line of new business practices, including adopting practices that positively impact our community. Art has always been an integral part of the Moye White office, so partnering with CBCA to advance Colorado’s creative and artistic community was a natural fit” – Thomas List, Managing Partner at Moye White

With the generous support and engagement of our community, CBCA has been able to affect some transformational initiatives for Colorado’s arts and creative industries through advocacy in the last year. Hear it from others:

“For an individual citizen, the hardest part about advocacy is figuring out where to start. CBCA’s advocacy work has been essential in breaking down barriers that prevent Colorado citizens from engaging with their elected officials. From forging intersectional relationships to creating awareness about the needs of Colorado artists, CBCA continues to empower each of us with the tools needed to advocate for the arts.” – Elisabeth Boyce, Development Administrative Coordinator, Central City Opera

“CBCA’s advocacy work has brought awareness to the struggles of rural arts communities to our state representatives. Through CBCA’s tireless work, creative organizations in northwest Colorado have received funding that has helped keep their doors open. The work CBCA does by connecting the business community to the arts community is invaluable to rural Colorado.” – Dagny McKinley, Director, Colorado New Play Festival

The Deborah Jordy Leadership Arts Scholarship is intended to recognize leadership potential, increase the financial accessibility of Leadership Arts program, and ensure a variety of perspectives and experiences in advancing arts and culture. Hear what participants have to say about the program:

It also introduced me to many nonprofit cultural spaces in our community.” – Thanh Nguyen, VP Private Wealth Banker, BOK Financial

“Leadership Arts provided a thorough intro to board service, covering topics from bylaws to legal issues, fundraising, working with staff, crisis management, diversity, mission and so much more. Expert voices shared their experiences, challenges and victories to foster realistic expectations for my future board involvement.” – Erin Bird, Communications Manager, Denver Botanic Gardens

“Leadership Arts was a wonderful experience, the topics covered are comprehensive for anyone interested in leadership within the arts sector. I expanded my understanding of the local creative community and made some lifelong friends in my cohort.
